摘要
台社學會年會的徵稿文提到旅台加薩人安海正（Hazem Almassry）在台灣聲援巴勒斯坦的遊行中喊出了“Taiwan Can Help”口號，聽來讓人內心隱隱作痛：台灣的確在幫忙，但幫的是以色列。助以色列進行種族滅絕之外，台灣也在幫助以色列進行生態滅絕，亦更廣泛地在地球生態滅絕的道路上扮演加速器角色。這幅反烏托邦圖像看似匪夷所思，惟一旦從帝國/殖民的視角分析，立即能看出其中的「合情合理」。北方對南方、核心對邊陲的帝國支配殖民掠奪從未止歇。台灣既是受害者，亦是全球生態剝削鏈暨「滅絕三角」（資本主義、軍事主義、生態破壞）堅實重要的一環。或許我們可將“Taiwan Can Help”句子說完，以做出決定：台灣甘願幫帝國to harm, to kill, to extract, to exploit, to destroy，還是嚮往幫世界to save, to heal, to preserve, to repair。

法國巴黎第八大學哲學系榮譽教授、曾為「玉山學者」客座教授。主要研究當代法國哲學思想，並以重新思考民主深入移民、庶民與社會底層主體性議題，同時著力於文化與智識解殖研究，多年來不斷深入以電影為主體的政治、哲學探究，發展出具批判與反思性的「人民電影學」。中譯著作有：《傅柯：危險哲學家》（2013）、《錯開的交會：傅柯與中國》（2019）、《遭撞翻的哲學家： 哲學評論集》（2021）、《抵抗的人民．不屈的電影：布洛薩的電影、哲學、政治札記》（2022）。

摘要
在那世界分野的地方撕開了一道看得見或看不見的裂痕，然而無論裂痕清楚可見或隱然形成，這個強勁而倏然的撕裂就算沒出現在眼前，卻已深刻地烙印在人們的身軀了。
我們重複再重複地不斷提醒，這個世界是所有人類共存的世界，幾個世界實際上同時並存。而這些世界並不是像豌豆罐頭般的並排陳列在架子上各自安好。這些世界在彼此交會互相堆疊時，就像海底深處的地殼板塊推擠碰撞。我在這裡所指的就是全球南方和全球北方這兩個共存的世界，在我們所處的時代正面臨著越來越複雜的問題，導致了一觸即發的尖銳對立。
在這場演講裡，我將舉出不同的交會點，換句話說，這兩個世界的接連和脫鉤的所在，這樣的交會點不僅在陸地上同時也在海洋中，這是所有的人類、文化和政治地理上的交會點，其中有些交會點經常出現在國際媒體上，例如藍佩度薩、雷茲柏斯、格蘭德河、休達…等等，而有些交會點則時刻受到雷達掃描偵測。我有個計劃和想望，希望能夠結合力量組成團隊，在這些待遇不公環境惡劣的地方，在那人們分野並且對抗衝突多過交會融合的地方，進行大規模現場踏查，同時兼具實境理解和凝聚反思的田野研究。
而台灣正是處在這些對立交鋒的最前線—兩個世界在交會中因條件反差而互相對峙，即便通常不會擦撞出火花但也不是相安無事。來自全球南方的男女雇傭因人數眾多加上結構上屬於異質體世界—全球北方的從屬階層。在全球北方的台灣菁英們論述越來越狂熱，視角越來越盲目時，生活在同個空間裡的全球南方芸芸眾生們相互交談間說著印尼話、菲律賓語、越南話…等等。在台灣社會，全球南方和全球北方這兩個世界的無名戰爭被大量的，無所不在的論述說詞否認了，以至於社會無感。希望我的演講能稍稍掀開一角面紗。
Abstract
Where the worlds split, a tear appears, visible or not. But to be sure, this break is brutal and it brands its mark in the flesh of the living, if not always in geography.
For our world supposedly one, shared by all humans is actually made of several worlds. These worlds are not just juxtaposed like cans of beans on a shelf, they meet, they overlap, they bang together like techtonic plates at the bottom of the sea. What I have here in mind is of course the two worlds whose coexistence appears today more and more problematic and contentious – the Global North and the Global South.
I will focus in this talk on the topoi, places, where these worlds meet – that is both come together and separate or clash. Any of us can locate and spot on a map these meeting points, scattered on all continents but, as well in maritime spatial. Some of them are famous, often mentioned in the international press (Ceuta and Melilla, Rio Grande, Lesbos, Lampedusa…), some others remain unnoticed. What I would like to promote here, is an encompassing field research on these spots where the worlds part or, rather, are teared apart ; a research that should combine field work and working out of concepts, problematization. Taiwan is an outpost for this encounter between these radically heterogeneous worlds. This encounter is placed under the sign of the absence of common measure – and still, these worlds meet, they mix together, they fight against each other, they come close to each other and still remain definitely alien to each other… In Taiwan, these two worlds confront silently but bitterly. The servants and underdogs from the Global South that live and work there are the protagonists and witnesses of the heterogeneity of the worlds, subalternity is their unescapable fate. In Taiwan, the Global South that speaks Tagalog, Indonesian, Vietnamese… seeps through the pores of a society that sticks feverishly to its Global North condition, all the more feverishly since it feels as some sort of a patch on the Global North (a post-colony having become a « dragon »). In Taiwan, the denial of the «war of worlds» that involves the Global North and the Global South is massive and compact. This is what this talk aims at : lift a corner of the veil, make this invisible war visible.
